Using a thickness of stone of approximately 5 / 10 mm attached to a support of various dimensions it’s possible to obtain engravings, which are in no way different than those obtained by me on “full stone” but keeping the overall value of weight in a much more acceptable quantity, around 15 kg a square meter. There is the added advantage of less probability of breakage together with a major flexibility of the overall structure.
This new technology is an efficient way to propose art on stone, it can now be introduced in areas where the use of thick or heavy stone was just not possible. Now my works can easily be integrated in interior design not only in the home but also in other environmental situations such as yachts and ships.
