The bas reliefs on stone become part of our daily lives, timeless works of art, to gaze at, to touch lightly with the fingertips. The rays of light of a sunset or of a lamp play an important part in their display. They are above all, artistic objects which can be set up either as part of the architectural surroundings or to furnish indoor and outdoor spaces. The bas reliefs must be enjoyed, touched, studied at length, from various distances. They must be ‘ours’: for a moment man and stone, eyes and design must become one spirit. The bas relief is a moment of suspension.
These works of art can be simple ornaments or can be used as bases for fountains, on the edge of swimming pools, or as screens, precious parts of a floor or a wall, or for numerous other uses.
